Area Assessments
Think you might have a vertebrate vermin issue but want to make sure? Our Area Assessment services can determine levels of infestation, both before, during and after service is provided. These are based on detailed surveys of damage, actual vermin counts.
Rabbit Infestation Control
If rabbits are giving you trouble, causing damage by undermining your land, we can help you address this. A regular rabbit cull can have a significant effect on rabbit populations and limit the damage they encure.
Pigeon & Bird Control
With the recent rise in Bird Flu risks, pigeons have become a greater danger to native species and poultry.
Local Councils & Government
Government Departments and their Agencies have particular needs. Apart from necessary qualifications, accountability and safety, there is a need for discretion. BPS is able to provide the following services;

Farmers are too busy running their farm to worry about the specialist task of removing feral animals.
Foxes; There are proven benefits for controlling foxes that reveal themselves in lambing percentage. Once a fox has the taste of lamb, it can devastate the flock, especially taking the first-born while a second or third is born.
Pigs; Feral pigs can also lay large areas of pasture and crop to ruin.
Rabbits; Rabbits can ruin new crops and pasture, undermine infrastructure and endanger stock with ground excavation.
Conservation Groups & Aboriginal Corporations
Land Stewardship is central to our Ethos at BPS. We share with conservation groups and First Nations People, a strong connection to the land and a desire to look after our precious Australian biodiversity. Controlling feral animals is integral to this.
We feel that shooting, if conducted professionally, is the safest, most humane and selective method of control. Where this is not possible, trapping and poisoning can form part of the solution. We specialise in shooting control with trapping as an option and can work in cohort with other specialists.
At BPS, we are very conscious of animal welfare and wish to minimise or eradicate suffering. Removing foxes and cats from the biosphere prevents the unimaginable suffering of native animals that may fall victim to the feral predators.
In unfortunate circumstances where euthanising is the only way to end suffering, we provide an on call service.
